  : The apartment was in an amazing location right on a stunning canal and close to the museums

  : The canal views with tree lights outside the window, the character of the traditional building, it was a very clean apartment and a pleasure to return to after exploring the city , comfortable bed and good shower. Great host with quick communications.
  : Not the apartments fault but the noise from outside came through the windows a lot on a busy late Saturday night caused some sleep disruption but nothing too bad. Cant really fault the place anywhere else.

  : The location is perfect - although it has a lot of downsides. Since this is an old building, there is no or close to none sound isolation, and it is a pretty crowded street. So at night we could hear people from the street as if they were in the room.
  : Someone entered our room during our first night. The doors had 4 digit locks. The characters were 1-2-3-4. There are plenty of combinations that you can do with these 4 digits but you can probably imagine what was the lock combo for our room. So, assuming they were drunk and got lost in the building (there are only 3 rooms), 2 men tried to enter our room at 4.30 in the morning. We got up immediately to do noise and they backed out. I guess (and hope) they thought it was their room. The next day they put a lock to our door from inside, but then again we couldn't lock to door when we were out. This 4digit password was 'protecting' our stuff. Also, the heating did not work properly and we had use 2 small heaters at night. We travelled to Amsterdam on November, so you can imagine how cold it was. So we had to wear extra layers when we were in the room.
