  : Really close to everything, easy to get around. Staff were very nice, and helpful.

  : Cleanliness was poor!! The male older man worked evening/nights at reception was very rude. Whereas young girl in the mornings always friendly and upbeat!!

  : The location is ideal and the price for rooms isn't too bad, staff are fine and helpful, it's also handy as you can leave your luggage after checkout or before check in, saves you hauling it round the city , decent pub directly facing, smokers café next door too, and 1 just down the street (blue dolphin) which I can recommend. Also brunches over the road is decent food
  : Rooms were not spotless by any means, stairs are a killer, there is no lift in this hotel, there are 2 flights of steps per floor, so if you are a smoker and like us on the top floor it's a trek, the TV in our room didn't work, there's no coffee or tea in your room, there's a coffee machine in the lobby which is free in the morning to use, but if you're on the top floor, that's a trek for a brew.

  : The location. We went there to do all the usual touristy things and it turned out that anything we wanted to check out was (at most) 20-30 minutes away from the hotel. That's honestly amazing and really sweetened our time there.Also, staff letting us store our luggage after checking out was a nice move.
  : Suuuuper minor point but the TV's remote didn't work anymore - it didn't matter much in the end since we were out and about most of the time anyway (and staff would've probably swapped out the batteries had I asked them) but might be something you want your staff to routinely check in on every once in a while.

  : The location.
  : We were allocated a basement room which felt like a dungeon. When I asked if we could be moved I was told it was impossible. I asked if we could have a refund and would find somewhere else to stay. Again, I was told it was impossible and “what did I expect, it was only a 2 star hotel”. Ironically we were also asked to pay €100 deposit. We were mature guests not prone to causing damage in rooms. In the end we just had to stick it out. Through the whole process, the staff were brusque at best, with little empathy to our feelings. I chose not to spend unnecessary time in the room taking photos.
