  : Please be aware and take into consideration that even though you are booking to sleep in hostels uptown / leidseplein hostel orfeo / 2 /hostel leidsepliein, you will not be able to sleep there, unless you are checking in with cash in your pocket, or the front desk clerk MOHAMMED/ HIBRAIM OR HIMAN, will explain you,where is the ATM machine to withdraw cash, because they accept only cash. I have stayed in both hostels for about a week, and saw people trying to check in late at night,and being,forced to walk alone to look for an ATM machine. Everything is indicated that by receiving a cash from clients, the owner of those five,hostels,is trying to avoid paying tax. Because that income is not being registered, my conscience does not allow me to see this level of rudeness being done to a young traveler, therefore I have decided to bring it to your attention, in addition hostel UPTOWN AND ORFEO, as 3 floors,with rooms how are facing the main street, which is crowded with people and has many restaurants/pubs/clubs, with a lot of noise and high volume of speakers. I have checked out hostel Leidseplien and found out that they have rooms with 14 beds. I was in the commen, living room,and it smell stuffy,and bad,I have a feeling that two more hostel of the same owner, has the same style of narrow building with steep stairs and small rooms stuffed with many bunk beds. Their name is HOSTEL ANNEMARIE and HOSTEL SARPHATI. I highly recommend to you to stay away from,those five hostels,how as the same owner,he is a slumlord

  : I been before and extended my stay this is my second time location is very great and the staff are marvelous.
  : Yes the toilet and bathroom area is very small not much room to hang clothes in there.
