  : We have stayed here a few times and had lovely dinners and the staff have been very friendly and helpful.
  : We arrived at the hotel on Saturday, booked breakfast for the following morning and had dinner which was lovely.The next morning we were asked in reception whether we wanted to sit outside or in for breakfast and replied that we would be inside. That was the last contact we had with the person who we spoke to. He did not come to the table to bring a menu or ask what we would like to drink. He and a young chap came in several times to give other guests drinks/breakfast and although it was not busy he did not come over to us at all. After 25 minutes we decided that we had waited and been ignored enough so went to our room to collect our bag and went to the Reception to see the same person again. My husband asked for a refund for breakfast whereby we were asked who had shown us to the restaurant even though it was the same person. The hotel is small enough for him to have remembered 40 minutes earlier as there was him and another young waiter on duty! He then ushered us towards to go the restaurant. We explained what had happened and that we did not have time to wait as we had to be somewhere and left. On Monday I emailed asking again for a refund for breakfast and received a badly written email with an apology basically saying we should have asked for a Manager and that breakfast was part of the package, that's all. We visit family in the area a few times a year and live 100 miles away......not a very good service for breakfast this time so we will not be recommending that other family members stay here in future as they have done.
