  : The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station. The reception was open late allowing me to check in even after being delayed. The bed was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately these are the only positives to the room.
  : The room suffered from general lack of maintenance with an overall rundown and shabby feel. The furnishings were sparse, mismatching and old. In the room itself there were non working electrical outlets, broken trim, attempts were made to hide holes in the walls by pushing over night stands so they were out of reach. The real problems started in the bathroom though. All the fixtures showed wear and neglect and arrangement in the bathroom was very poor. To sit on the toilet required you to squeeze sideways between the it and the sink, and to use the bidet required you sit on it at an angle as it was to close to the wall to use normally. The shower was so small that it was impossible for me to step into it front ways, Even turning sideways meant that my chest and back rubbed on the doors to pass through. Mind you I am not that large of stature at 178cm and 74kg, I can only imagine showering for someone of larger size could be impossible. Once in the shower it was impossible to raise both my elbows at the same time. To wash my torso required shuffling from side to side for elbow clearance, washing my lower legs and feet was a no go, just not enough room to accomplish the task. The gravest problem with the room though was after about 20 seconds of luck warm water it turned ice cold, I retreated from the shower and fiddled with the controls to make sure it wasn't operator error but alas no hot water. I needed to leave fairly soon so it was decided to just finish my shower in the cold water. Not a fun way to start a busy early day. When I was ready check out I tried to tell the man at the desk about the water and to ask if there was anywhere near to pick up a quick on the go breakfast but it soon became clear that his command of both English and Italian languages was insufficient to understand or reply to either of these requests, I handed him my room key and bid him a good day hoping to forget the whole experience.

  : Simple but comfortable hotel, without elevator and with a reasonable breakfast. Currently run by a Chinese family that goes to great lengths to meet your needs. For the hotel prices in Milan (one of the most expensive cities in Europe), it is a good option, due to the proximity to the central train station (700 m) and the Lima metro station (300 m). Via Viturvio, where the hotel is located, has good shops and some restaurants (those located towards the Lima subway station are better) and ice cream shops, as well as a fair in the nearby square, always on Tuesdays.

  : No Lift. Dirty Concrete dangerous Stairs.Top step of both Floors much higher than the other steps. It breaks all Rules of Construction.and Building Codes.
