  : Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size with comfortable bed and much needed air conditioning. There were tea and coffee making facilities which I don't remember being listed. Good provision of toiletries. Breakfast was magnificent! Fabulous selection whatever time you came in. Although about 40 minutes walk from the old town, the science and arts complex with its marvellous architecture was on the doorstep and both the town and the marina/beaches are easily accessible by bus (multiple use tickets are available and you can get ones to cover the airport journey too).
  : The rooftop bar has fabulous views and there is no minimum order cost for hotel guests, but beware, on certain days it closes early for Spain - 10pm the night we chose to visit. Having waited to get our order taken and served (we were in no hurry), we were told we had 15 minutes before the bar closed and no, we couldn't take our glasses with us - our G&Ts had to be put in plastic beakers! Not the glamorous end to the day that we had anticipated as we drank these in the foyer. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to ask for a room on a higher floor as the roundabout outside is very busy and the windows don't keep it all out. Whilst it was a treat to have sheets and towels fresh every day, it wasn't really necessary and with all the environmental concerns about the impact of tourism, it did feel as though we were part of the problem but not through choice. Only 2 of 3 lifts operating during our stay.
