  : - we liked the location - staff in the restaurant is kind and helpful - we had a nice beach view from the apartment - hotel was clean in most of the places - public parking nearby (however not sure if there is enough space during high season) - breakfast is of good quality and has a lot of variety.
  : My husband and I picked this hotel based on the reviews and we regret doing that because nobody really talked about these issues so here we go and we hope we can help other families by giving them details about our experience - There was sand on the floor the first day we arrived at the hotel and the bathroom wasnt clean. The next day we talked to reception cause there wasnt anyone at the reception the first day we arrived. Receptionist asked the cleaning staff to clean the apartment better and so they did - It is a beachfront hotel but the beach is unfortunately very dirty and so we barely went there. We had to take the car to go to nearby beaches where the water was clear. - The stove wasnt working properly, one of the hotplates didnt work at all. The other hotplate took ages to warm up. When you have a baby and theyre hungry you need the stove to work properly and as fast as possible. - Jacuzzi wasnt hot at all. - The variety of the food at dinner is very little. If you are a picky eater you might not find anything that you like so it is a waste of money in that case. (my husband and my son found it hard to eat well at dinner) - Water during breakfast has a bad taste.- You need to pay for the towels for the spa (if you wanted to be washed you need to pay for it as well) - If you need Wi-Fi, you need to put the Wi-Fi password over and over again during your stay because the Wifi gets disconnected from your devise all the time We paid 1800 for 7 nights and we find it not good value for money.

  : Firstly I visit the island every year to cycle in cycling season and I bring my bike. At reception I was told I could not take my bike to the room and it would have to be locked in a room by reception. I refused to leave my bike in the room due to its value and the fact it appeared that the hotel is not willing to take responsibility should bikes go missing. The hotel needs to put up a clear policy regarding bikes on there website. The only reason I spent 4 nights here was I could not get the additional 4 nights at the hotel I always stay at as this is a hotel geared towards cyclists the Dunes clearly is not. Secondly the food, my first night I went to dinner at 8pm and some hot food had obviously been sitting for an hour and was cold so I made a choice to make sure I went to both breakfast and dinner when the restaurants opened for service as the food was fresh and hot.

  : Some things in the apartment were missing when we first arrived E.g. soap dispenser in shower, kitchen towels. These were added later. Dishwasher soap would have been handy to have.
