  : A charming cottage,thoughtfully decorated & it had lovely white bedding & towels. It had everything you could need ,comfy sofas, good kitchen , tv & Wi-Fi.
  : The area its situated in . Quite run down & lots of rubbish strewn about outside. There's not enough parking spaces for the number of properties.

  : Cozy cute and warm cottage. Beautiful decor. The beds are so comfortable and at night within our four night stay was quiet. Slept very well. The local public market is less than a five minute walk. Plus, so many shops, different choice of restaurants. The beach is very close. Not to forget Scarborough castle is a short walk; we enjoyed our visit to the castle with a cafe/gift shop/toilets the castle and a really good view Im sure I could see captains cottage. Made a nice breakfast lunch and dinner using the kitchen facilities all good and a lovely outdoor back area. Will love to visit here again thank you for our stay.

  : there was no green bags to put rubbish in to protect from the seaguls so could not put the rubbish out on the front street by the main entrance door , the door frame is to low from the living room to kitchen as i hit my head off it and the light in the kitchen bulb needs replacing and we had to use a table lamp for light for the kitchen , some of the internal doors are fallen apart and was hard to shut and open the doors in the rooms and wall paper coming off walls in places , the person who checks that house is not doing a full inspection what needs repaired and replaced , cleaniness was ok but not excellent

  : The bedrooms were nice and comfy. The location was close to all we needed. The cottage was very clean and has a nice little outdoor area.
  : It was situated in the middle of a very busy housing estate and there is no pavement outside the front door. When you go out the front door, it's straight on to a road. . There was no kind of welcome pack. When you arrive on holiday, the first thing you want is a brew and there was not a thing there . It would have been nice to just have a couple of t-bags and milk and sugar. Not expecting much just enough for a couple of brews till we could get to the shops . There was no tea towels or kitchen clothes .

  : When we arrived. To be greeted by a police van and arrests outside. The property next door is derelict and surrounded by high-rise social housing. Not our idea of a Captains cottage with view of sea!!. The property itself is clean, but the stench of bleach is overwhelming. We cant stay here, this is not was was sold to us on the website. I have tried phoning, had to leave message, not heard back .We are now having to drive around and find somewhere else to stay.I wouldnt even feel safe to leave my car parked outside. Its already surrounded by teenagers.
