  : The room was very basic, needs fresh decor, but very clean otherwise. The food was excellent. Breakfast had several options that seemed to cater for all dietary requirements. Dinner had a set menu each day, but guests could 'mix & match' their meals which proved a winning dining experience for many.
  : Traffic noise was an issue, windows had to be closed at night just to drown out some of the noise. However, being based on a roundabout near the centre of St. Helier this was something we should have expected.

  : In desperate need of updating and certainly not worth the 700 for four nights. Swimming pool was dirty and did not smell of chlorine etc. We decided not to risk it. Hotel full of stairs to access rooms.

  : Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good sized spacious room with all the expected facilities and clean. Good value for money and everything you'd expect - very functional.
  : Some of the other areas bar/dinner appeared to be a little drab and rundown - could do with some TLC. This area in the evening did not quite have the positive/lively atmosphere we'd have liked, so resorted to going elsewhere.

  : The only thing I would say about the breakfast is that things kept running out & there were a couple of grumpy staff if you asked them to replenish what had run out.

  : The pool room was lovely, the hotel was clean and the staff were great - very friendly and helped in any way they could. Breakfast was nice!
  : We were situated on the top floor and the room was incredibly hot. We asked at reception for a fan and they had none left as they were all being used. Not the staffs fault, but management should ensure more fans are available in warm weather as there is no air con. We had a 1 year old and the temperature was unsafe for him, it was honestly that warm! We bought our own fans in the end. The windows were locked to only open a small amount because of being on the third floor which didnt help the situation. When we arrived there was a leak outside the room with a bucket - again not the staffs fault but not an ideal welcome! The hotel could do with a bit of modernization as its looking a little tired.
