  : The waiting and housekeeping staff were very good. Breakfast when we had it was good. Great location for accessing transport and town centre etc. Saturday night entertainment available.
  : Main entrance right on the roadside. When we arrived at reception, the person in the office (who we later found out was an owner) shut her door when we rang the bell. The barman came through to see us and then aforesaid owner came out to check us in.Photos on the website were quite kind. Facilities good but a peculiar set up. We got the impression that the owners enjoyed having a hotel where they could play mine hist for friends. They are lucky to have good staff.The Saturday entertainment was good but well over priced.Breakfast was on every day but when we went down towards the end of service, much had been cleared away, we weren't on b and b but as breakfast was open to anyone, this seemed short sighted.The bar closed early on Sunday and Wednesday that we were aware of when we came back from days out.The rooms were tired with mis-matched furnishings and bathrooms needing some updating. Hot water was in short supply in the evenings.

  : Excellent friendly and efficient staff. Especially the man who was everywhere at once and anticipated what you needed.Breakfast choice and quality was excellent.Views of sea from terrace, breakfast room and bedroom were outstanding.Price of drinks was better than in the cafes in the town.
  : I would have liked a shower cap ( disposable) in the bathroom and maybe a choice of tea in the room ( Scots prefer different tea to the English but that is personal choice.) A little biscuit in the room with the tea would have been nice. There's really nothing else they could have done better

  : A little further out of town than we thought but still only a 10 minute walk and it was on a direct bus route
