  : Pleasant hotel in a quiet location in a charming town. Close to the Mermaid Inn, a great pub to spend an evening.
  : Mattress was rather soft and lumpy, probably needs replacement. Parking difficult, and non-resident parking spaces very limited.

  : This is a lovely little hotel and I always stay here when in Rye. Its pretty central with decent sized rooms, has good WiFi and does an excellent breakfast.
  : There is very little parking nearby. I usually park in Gibbets Marsh which is £2.60 for the day and a short walk away. It's a bit of a hike up the hill if you are not very mobile but the views are well worth it.

  : Lovely hotel and location and very good staff. No evening meal but great breakfast and bar. Some many restaurants within a few minutes so no problem at all
  : The parking was limited in terms of time ( only from 1800-0900)so that could be a problem but parking near by. This time we were on bikes and they stored them securely over night

  : couldnt really fault anything. the room was a good size, bed very comfy and bedding spotlessly clean . bathroom was also spotless and a good size. we had a deluxe double with a lovely veiw to the hills and over the river. breakfast was superb , with everything you could need and plenty of it. the staff were very friendly and helpful. although the hotel is on a hill its not a long way up and is an easy stroll. rye is lovely and we will be back in the festive season. car parking isnt a huge problem either. market car park is best at 2.50 for 24hrs.

  : I am not often give comments as they could variate between the expectation from everyone but in this case we have been so decepointed that we have to warn you. We have reserved two room, NR 26 and 27. NR 26 for which I will giv emy comments in the section has been a normal room as expected. The room was clean, smal, not easy to access due to the stairs on the second floor but all in all it was normal. The breakfast was good organised and the service was friendly.
  : But, room 27, the famouse double luxury room was the worst experience I ever had in a hotel room. I am not as mentioned someone who is complaining for free as I know the daily work hotels have to go through but as I didn't have received any anwser from the manager Mr Sergio Gomes, my pictures will talk from themself. Security alarm light shining the full night, window clouldn't be closed anymore as broken, they gave us scotch to keep it as good as possible closed. In the bathroom a durty door giving the vision over our bed, really does any of you see this before? As we have been in vacation we hadn't no choice to stay the evening with our children there, we haven't sleep at all. This is really a joke, we are very angry about this hotel and how they have treated us!
