  : The staff at the hotel were exceptional - so polite , friendly and nothing was too much trouble.The breakfast was excellent and the location superb.
  : They only slight issue was the water pressure in the room was quite low so the shower was not great but it certainly didnt spoil our stay.

  : Rooms were a bit tired. Windows wouldn't open. Breakfast choice was poor, and cooked breakfast was mean - for example, I didn't want an egg but, unlike most places I have stayed, nothing extra was offered; the menu stated that there would be two rashers of bacon per person, but everyone was given only one. The hotel rating was very misleading, and the price far too high for what was on offer, especially if you booked through Booking.com.

  : I’m not comfortable with heights so when I was told that there are no elevators, I regret booking my room in 3rd floor, I felt uncomfortable climbing on extra elevated narrow stairs going up.

  : I think it is very wrong that their website, inroom guest guides, include the old menu and booking.com photos show a restaurant. It closed last year. Having arrived. At 20.17 after a 3 hr journey to be told the restaurant doesnt close at 20.30pm as stated on the website, it actually closed last year because it was unprofitable according to the colleague on the desk last night. I think it is only fair that this is updated on all booking sites and they should remove the knife and fork icons from the summary. Had there been anyone to talk to about this issue this morning I would have added their response but there wasn’t. Last night I was simply told that there was a good pub down the road. To be balanced I would also suggest people ask what room they are staying in because room 32 on the top floor looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the booking site. Make sure you get a featured room. Didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment
