  : It was ideal as I blew out my tyre and ended up staying in Dunkeld for the night. The room was lovely. They accepted dogs so that was a blessing as it was unexpected for us to be staying there. The gentleman in the bar was lovely. We ate food at the hotel too. This was lovely.
  : The price £170 for bed only. Breakfast was additional. This was the only hotel with rooms available. I needed a room for my children to sleep rather than the car so had to pay for the price. It ended up being an expensive holiday to start.

  : I was told I was booked into a chalet/cabin on arrival. The actual room was a prefabricated wooden building similar to a large garden shed that was very different to what was suggested as a typical room on the hotel’s website. I overheard staff saying on my first night on the premises they were fully booked the following night but half full on the day I arrived - so I won’t see why I was booked into an annex of the property and not in the main building.The room I booked had two single beds pushed together. As I was staying alone, the extra space was welcome, but the mattresses were two singles and if one laid down in the middle of the bed, the would start separating, which was less than comfortable.Whilst there was a television in the room, its arial cable wasn’t and wouldn’t connect so it was out of order. A friend who insisting rooms from the same annex due to bathroom issues was offered a room that was unavailable for maintenance as the TV wasn’t working. That the management ruled out a room in the main building due to a TV defect but kept one in the annex in service didn’t feel particularly welcome.Housekeeping was very late and minimal. After my first night they did virtually nothing as I had done some tidying up myself having waited for them. On the second, they turned up at 4pm when I was in the room and their presence was not convenient. Frankly it felt they turned up late in anticipation their services wouldn’t have been required.For the cost, the quality of accommodation and service was sub-par.
