  : Really lovely property, centrally located but quiet and furnished to very high standard. Kendal is an excellent base for exploring the lakes.
  : Drawbacks: no washing machine, and wifi didn't work in every room - I guess due to the age of the property (old beams and thick walls). Parking is in a nearby car park and cost 35 for a week. But overall would happily stay again

  : Spacious. Central location. Beside shops. Comfortable beds.
  : Hot water from taps took about 4 minutes. Took several days to discover that and cold washed until then. Lack of rails at bath. Too dangerous for blind friend so she only used once. High step from kitchen to lounge with no rail so difficult to carry tea/coffee. Unmarked red switch in kitchen so don't know what it did. Echo dot couldn't connect to wifi so had to tether. Microwave very high and has possible issues with spillage of soup. Dishwasher and crockery door handles foul each other. Overpowering food smell on stair. Leaflets on first floor landing need checking for time expiry - for example bus timetables for summer 2021. Did not expect so many steps inside flat. Advised of blind friend with me. She found it very difficult. Bathroom soap dispenser leaks. Toilet paper supplied was poorest ever experienced. Twin room bed legs have very sharp corners and there's not much legroom. Power extension leads are terribly short.
