Brand New Ealing Common Apartment with Large Private Patio

  : The apartment is new and well equipped and it is located in a nice neighbourhood.
  : First of all, we were informed a day prior to our stay that something is broken in the apartment and that we will have to stay in another apartment in the building next door. The apartment was nice and clean and well equipped, BUT the ventilation system is too loud and cannot be switched off or changed to a more quiet setting. After contacting the staff about it, they told us that this is the standard and that the ventilation cannot be switched off. We asked if they can at least change the setting to a more quiet one, so that we can sleep at night and the response we got was very rude. Basically telling us to get used to it because other guests did and making us feel like we were the problem and not the ventilation system. Very rude!!! The standard in UK for the noise coming from a ventilation system in bedrooms and living rooms is max 30 decibel. In our bedroom it was 50 decibel with the doors shut and complete silence! And that constantly without a break! So you feel like youre sleeping next to the train tracks. Because of these two reasons - rude staff and very loud ventilation - we would not recommend this apartment.
