  : The spa facilities were such a nice touch, there were plenty of amenities and not too many people to share it with. We were a bit early for check in but was able to use the amenities straight away!
  : The spa is a little bit of a walk away from the hotel itself. The hotel is a little outdated but clean.

  : Awful bathroom, shower, toilet - cramped, and very very dated. Room is dated and curtains were dusty and broke off. Creaky floorboards and could hear noises from the next room in the middle of the night !! Also breakfast finished too early (9am)

  : We received a very warm and friendly reception. Our room was quite spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of food, both cooked and uncooked. Dinner in the restaurant offered a good variety of dishes and the quality was excellent. The service was prompt and very efficient. The staff in reception, the bar and restaurant were very friendly, cheerful and efficient - a credit to the hotel. We were offered the use of the leisure facilities, although we were not able to take advantage of the offer. There is ample parking. The grounds are very pleasant and well maintained although care has to be taken to avoid the numerous geese and their droppings.
  : The driveway into the hotel is not easy to find, especially if you are travelling eastwards towards Bury. The surface of the driveway needs attention in many places where there has been subsidence. This leads to pooling of water and as it is also the only pedestrian access it is difficult in rainy conditions to use without getting very wet feet.
