  : There is an obvious difference between whether or not the bathroom is clean. A lot of hassle about the payment, which could not be paid by credit card due to a malfunction that could not be resolved during our five-night stay (???). It became a story in itself, the staff chasing us for cash payment. We also had problems with the safe, the hairdryer was broken, the shower rod was the same. The latter has been resolved, but eh, that should really be fine instead of us having to chase it down and having our words questioned.

  : The hotel has a great location, very close to Istikal and Taksim. The neighborhood has an authentic feel and is very lively. There are lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops around. The staff are nice and helpful. Fresh towels are provided daily and the room is made up everyday.
  : The street is more or less quiet but the hotel is not soundproof, so for light sleepers this means you will hear outside noise easily. Staff sometimes are not available, specially at night. So you might not find help if needed (for example the safe was not opening and we had to wait until the morning to open it). There was an issue with water in the neighborhood that was not resolved until next day, would have been nice to offer a discount or a simple apology :)

  : Nice staff, especially the lady at the reception. Great location near Galata Tower and Taksim Street.
  : Outdated room, terrace and bathroom need renovation. Be ready for an uphill climb when reaching the nearest metro station.

  : The location is excellent in a very lively and safe area, the staff were also friendly and helpful.
  : Our room clearly wasnt maintained properly and requires some improvements, the A/C wasnt great, ceiling light fixtures were not properly installed, everything seemed a bit dated and unkempt. The bathroom was small and the shower pressure was not very good either. The room was advertised as 45m2 but in fact that includes a large balcony which means the room is much smaller. And the sofa bed was not comfortable. Finally, they dont clean your room on a daily basis and the one time they did it (out of our 6 nights) it was a rushed job. So in a nutshell this is not a 4 star hotel by any means.

  : the hotel is in a very central position a stone's throw from the Galata Tower and Istiklal Kaddesi.The room is large and spacious but not refined in detail. (Cleaning is upon request)
  : Total absence of soundproofing: you can hear everything both from the street below and from the internal staircase of the hotel and from the other rooms. The reception is not 24 hours (from 11.30pm until 10am you can't contact anyone) and I had to check out independently.
