  : Top area, 20 mins to walk to most attractions of Rome.Spacious and well equiped, beautiful interior and decorations (16th century building).Top restaurants and bars nearby, one of them at 20 meters from the entrance. We recommend the place.
  : The loud noise (each morning) made by city's sanitation services, especially in that area where people party a lot in the evenings, in the streets, and the amounts of waste are higher. We know this is a major trouble in Rome, so I wouldn't put this on this accommodation; if you are not the sensible type and enjoy the noisy Rome, then no worries.

  : The location is really nice. The apartment is large and has enough sofas and beds.
  : The apartment is dark and doesn't have enough lights specially in the bedrooms. We only had 1 capsule for the dishwasher and 1 sponge which wasn't enough.

  : Excellent location in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to many tourist attractions. Direct view of the Coliseum around the corner. Spacious apartment that is clean and comfortable. Great value for teh price
  : Very noisy. While to be expected in any downtown location, especially of a second floor apartment located over bars, the location is extremely loud, especially after midnight when drunken Italians roam the streets and trash trucks make their rounds. Earplugs are a necessity. Also, the continuous hot water heater needs maintenance in this unit, as it stopped heating water for our showers on a regular basis.

  : Location is great where you have the colosseum nearby + other landmarks. Also, there are shops and restaurants steps away. For the first time in the trip, WiFi was strong so I was finallly able to make a few phone calls.
  : The host was a rude once we got there. Kindness makes the whole experience better, especially if you have someone that is paying to stay at your property. Also, the host made it a mission to get a jacket back from the apartment saying "they had no contact with the cleaning people". Very disorganized. There was also the master room that had a funky smell the whole time we were there. We could not use it and had to close the door so that smell would not escape to the rest of the house. Lastly, it was on the first floor so it was extremely noisy. You can hear everything happening outside. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this will not be your place.

  : Spacious apartment in the heart of Rome's Monti district. The two bedrooms are spread out and allow for privacy. The apartment is well-equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge and washing machine. The AC units in each room are older but work well enough to take the edge off of a hot night. It was an excellent location to walk to the coliseum and other attractions. The buses and metro stops were about 10 minutes walk away. I was happy to be allowed an early check-in at 13:00.
  : There are signs on all of the windows warning guests not to leave the windows open at night or when away from the apartment. This is because the apartment is on the first floor, just above the street below where someone could climb in through the window. As others have noted, the proximity to the street also means that there is a lot of noise coming in to the apartment, even with the windows closed. Some of it was from the busy nightlife scene, but also early in the morning you get the garbage collectors making their noisy rounds. This is an apartment managed by a company with several other apartments. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to arrive with the keys. We didn't get a run through of how to work various appliances in the apartment, but figured most of it out. The only issue was with the hot water heater: it took until the following day to figure out that to get hot water all taps in the apartment had to be turned on to get enough pressure in the system for the boiler to turn on. The place is clean, but not spotless. The carpet could have definitely used a good vacuuming.

  : Hot water was not consistent, not enough to shower with. Windows did not keep out any of the noise, we understood it would be noisy because of the restaurants but the windows and shutters didnt keep any of it out.
