  : The housekeepers are amazing and really friendly! They do a great job with cleaning and bring snacks every day. The A/C in the room was functional. The hair dryer in the room was really good. The clothes rack in the room was useful for drying clothes. The WiFi always worked and was fast. The garden was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The location was excellent: there are bus stops, metro stop, pharmacy, and grocery store nearby.
  : Theres no elevator, and the stairs are dark and high. Its difficult to move the luggage up or down. It was uncomfortable that a room only has one key which opens up both the gate and the room. When checking out, one of you has to physically hold the gate while the other returns the key. There was little help with taxi booking to the airport, so we had to do it ourselves. The shelves in the room were dusty and smelly. The toilet did not flush easily, and the shower was leaking heavily. The shower door was not closing properly. It was difficult to sleep because someone downstairs was watching TV loudly until 2am. The bed was not super comfortable. Also note that cats live on the property, but we were told that they do not enter guests rooms.

  : The room was much more spacious than it seemed from th pictures. The large wardrobe was fantastic for someone who had a lot of shirts and jackets to hang like me. I left every morning and came back to a cleaned room and a made bed. The host also left little breakfast snacks and restocked them if I happened to eat some. The mini-fridge and the AC were very welcome in the August heat. The bathroom was fairly new, clean, functional, everything necessary was provided.
  : The only thing I possibly could say on the negative side was that the cleaning was a bit unpredictable, in the sense that I wasn't told if and when the room would be cleaned, I would just come back to a clean room, but I was never disturbed by this nor where any of my things out of place.

  : Located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, a bit of a walk from the closest metro Policlinico station (~16 minutes), though the city could be reached by busses (Stop ~ 6 minutes away) instead of walking down to the metro. Termini station is one metro stop away. The bed is comfy and spacious for one person, can hold two person. Washroom clean, shower was clean. Complimentary breakfast snacks (cornetto, instant coffee) were included. An electric kettle was provided for coffee. There is supermarket down the road if you need to buy snacks, water, etc. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The location could be appealing to couples who've already been to Rome, well acquainted with the transit system and is looking for a quiet hamlet in Rome. Overall a good value for Rome, definitely better than the last few hotels I've been in.
  : Some things could've been better: - Waste basket for garbage. Though a small basket was provided it's not enough space to throw away garbage. - Possibly get something like 'do not disturb' sign - Could be noisy when other people come up the hallway/hang around there.

  : I closed the windows to keep out the mosquitoes and when I came back they opened them and I got destroyed by mosquitoes. Was cigarette ash, in the bathroom sink. The toilet only flushes once in a while

  : Residenza Matilde is very close to Piazza Caprera and a lot of different small restaurants I needed a room for two nights close to Piazza Caprera. The room was very big with two couches and a lot of space. Recommended!
  : Not a problem of Residenza Matilde but of the whole area: a lot of mosquitoes!

  : Booked this room for my father, he tells me that his stay was really pleasant, the room was very clean and very quiet at night. The room was well equipped with towels/hairdrier/toiletries etc and also a kettle with some coffee/tea and some biscuits.
