  : Everything is bad. just using this space. Short summary: Angry owner who shouted at us. My wife had to take our kids out as we did not wanted oru kids to witness such a violent man. He violently kept kicking his washing machine and could not control his anger. THE APARTMENT IS DIFFERENT from what is shown (read review of 27/9/22 SCAM sort reviews by lowest before booking). We had heating issues. Other guests faced issues with cooling. We, wife and 2 kids (4&6), drove from Pisa to Rome and checked in late (11:10pm) on 20 Dec 2022. I had already whatsapped before the start of our holiday that we will be checking in very late which he had accepted. There was no issue with checking in. He remotely opened the building door and the apartment was open with the keys left inside the apartment. It was a cold night and the heating was on. I thanked the owner for the apartment and said goodbye. Everything went downhill from there. We wanted to fix a quick dinner and realised that the apartment was missing a lighter and the gas stove did not have a built in lighter. I could not imagine the owner not to consider keeping a lighter if his gas stove needed one. Fortunately, we had one with us. Soon after the heating was off. I thought this was automatic and accepted, as we all switch off heating at night. However, it was still off at 10:30am the next day. Tried to switch it on by increase temp but it wouldnt. The owner said that it will switch on if it goes before 21C. First of all, the ambient room temp is 23C, I am not sure how he decided the gold standard to be 21C and secondly the room temp was 20C. We were all in layers inside this apartment trying to keep ourselves warm. He then said that he does not live there was is in Rome and will come around 1:30pm, expecting us to wait for him. I gave up on the heating issue.
  : We then had laundry to do. We loaded our cloths, filled the detergents (powder) but the washing cycle wouldnt start. Messaged him again to askif there was a specific method to start the machine but he wouldnt respond. Followed up and was asked to wait until 1:30pm. Then I contacted booking.com who said that they have relayed the message to the owner. We gave up on both the issues and decided to head out. We were about to go out of the apartment and the owner shows up around 1:50pm. 2mins into our conversation, he starts shouting and asked us to pack our bags and go out. I could not believe his audacity. He kept shouting saying angrily (we have a proof to back this up). He got so furious and started to angrily fidget around the thermostat buttons . My wife took the kids out and he just kept shouting. I asked him about the washing machine and then he started to violently kick them. Blamed us for breaking it as we used powder detergent instead of liquid. I made an international roaming call to booking.com on their UK number and spoke with Jamal on loud speaker. All of a sudden, this angry-violent man became so quiet. I told Jamal I want them to refund me and provide a different apartment to me (which they did not). I had no choice but to stay there. For the record, the apartment heading and washing machine issued weren't resolved and booking.com did nothing to sort it. Once we checked our, HE DELETED ALL OUR WHATSAPP MESSAGE HISTORY AND MARKED US AS NO SHOW SO THAT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO MARK OUR REVIEW (booking.com sent me the link for review and acknowledge that I did stay there). I will now take this with the European Cybercime Authority and Italian Embassy of the country I live in to report the owner and booking.com.

  : Host! Although I choose late arrival time(between 00-01pm) and wrote it to viber to the host for which i get confirmation, during the travel on the way he wrote me that he wouldnt allowed us to stay at his accomodation because it was late and his children couldnt sleep! We stay at the hall for maybe a hour, then he answer us and opec AUTOMATICALLY the door in the middle of the night. Next, I book for 344eur, he wrote me to pay 400eur. We have choosen pay at the property, and leave him 400eur on the table (he can entry in the accomodation wherever he wants) because we dont have other option and dont have where to goint for the rest days.

  : Nothing , first I was referred to another place not where I reserved. To make it worst nothing was available not even a bottle of water ,nothing not even mosquito medicine of any kind
  : I had kids with me and that place was basically inside mosquito , my two kids are bitten all through the night by mosquito, only for me to wake up with a swollen faces and legs

  : The apartment was neat and clean and had enough for 4 people .
  : 1. The AC was set at 25 and the remote was removed.2. The internet speed was too low we couldn't even chat. 3. There was only one toilet tissue for 4 people for 3 days .4. There wasn't a garbage bin and shower gel /soap When we asked for the shower gel the owner asked us to buy it . I don't think we have to carry soap for an accommodation we book .
