  : IThe location near the terminal was convenient. The prices would have been competitive if the facilities had been in good condition.
  : This was possibly one of the worst hotel interactions I've ever had.I paid 440 euro for this room, thinking it a bargain, due to its proximity to Roma Termini and several tourist attractions. That was the nonrefundable price for a double room with a single guest.We arrived at the address on a trash filled street to see that there was no Hotel Divine at all, but instead a Hotel Giorgio. We went to reception after being buzzed into the building. The man at the desk (around 1500 on 24 July) confirmed that he had my reservation. He noted that I only booked for one guest (accurate) so for my partner to stay, I had to pay an additional fee of 50 euro per night for an additional guest plus a 3.5 euro city tax per night. This payment had to be in cash. He cut me a "bargain" for 35 euro per night for the guest, bringing my new additional fee from 321 euro to 231 euro (again, for six nights in addition to the 440 euro I'd already paid). I pay him the additional fee (which he put in his pocket), then he leads us to our room.The hallway leading to our room was disgusting. The carpet was stained, there were dead cockroaches, at least one room had a missing doorknob, several of the rooms we passed reeked of ammonia, and the walls were filthy. He opens our door, then hands us a card key barely held together with tape, saying that we need to turn the key in to the front desk whenever we leave the building.The room itself was small and hot. Despite advertising that there was an AC unit (and charging per night for one!), it did not function. There was a small fan, but it either didn't work itself, or none of the outlets in the room worked, because the fan never turned on. We opened the window and it overlooked a courtyard full of dumpsters. My partner and I were already done at this point, so we started looking for an airbnb. We connected to the wifi, but it was so weak that we had to switch back to data.

  : The location was quite good, very close to the central train station and from several major attractions. The room had A/C, which was a must when Rome gets hot.
  : Run-down. Dirty. Messy. Hairs in the shower. A folded map in the spare sheets in the closet from a previous guest. Dusty. Refrigerator was dirty. Guests had to be escorted to their rooms every time they went out (to prevent them from sneaking in extra guests). On the second day I found out my door wouldn't lock, and they were reluctant to fix the problem (at first they suggested I take a picture of all my belongings and then make a claim if anything went missing). I think the staff member who finally agreed to move me to another room got in trouble for this.

  : The hotel staff was very nice - probably the thing I liked most about the hotel, everybody tried to help, the room wasnt overheated in summer and had airconditioning
  : The hotel looks a bit shabby, the shower - this does not provide much flexibility - I dont always want to get my hair or face wet when showering, so being able to have an option of shower hose (instead just shower head with stream of water from above) would be preferable. Other than that I'd recommend the hotel to just use one name, not three different names as it does not look professional however logical the division sounds for them. It should be called hotel Giorgi on booking.com and not hotel Divine The price is ok but you can find comparable price range with breakfast included in another hotel.

  : The location was the only good thing. Some staff was very friendly, others were not.
  : This place is UNSAFE and NOT SECURE!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Two other guests approached me on my last night to informed me they had read online that the room keys have access to all other rooms. They tried their key on my room and, sure enough, it opened the door. When I checked out the next morning, I mentioned it to the reception dpesk staff, and stated this is an extremely unsafe feature. He responded with "you know Americans, they come and try things like this" so I informed him the two guests who approached me were not American and he said "well no one who is currently staying in the hotel would try to go in your room so you're safe". I said he cannot guarantee if other guests will come in, especially when he's basing it on their nationality. He then added the obligatory "I'm sorry you had this experience" and "I will let my supervisor know" sentiments, but he did not seem to grasp the severity of the situation, even though he knew the keys are set up this way. The lack of safety alone is enough for me to say NO ONE SHOULD STAY HERE! But if that is not sufficient, the cleanliness of this place should also scare anyone else away. There are dust bunnies under the bed, in the staircase, on the underside of the toilet etc. There was a used piece of soap on the shower floor when I checked in, which means the shower was clearly not cleaned. The shower walls also had a layer of scum. The shower itself did not even have a door. I had two separate reservations for two different room types. The fridges in both rooms did not work. The AC in both rooms could not be adjusted so the first room was very cold, and the second room very hot. The wifi was awful, it only seemed to work in the reception area. Also, the hotel is named Giorgi, not Hotel Divine Rome as it is listed as online. This is fine, but it seemed very strange from the beginning.

  : 1. They make you hand in your keys every time you go out. You have to collect it on your way back to the room, whenever you return.2. harder to locate even with gps cuz there's no sign of board that says "Hotel Divine". it's hotel Gorgi or something on the sign(as of this date)3. there was no remote to control/Adjust the AC temp. you either had it ON or OFF4. The windows are pointless even for ventilation, as there's no airflow from the windows, just light.5. no Bedside electric sockets/outlets.
