  : The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily.The location is good (quite far from San Marco - roughly 1 h by bus and ship). The biggest advantge of the location is that it has a bus station in front of the hotel. The breakfast was tasty and diversified for only 9 EUR/pers. Overall,the hotel is perfect for a short stay and it has an excellet price-quallity ratio.

  : From the very beginning, I would rate the whole stay at Garibaldi as bizarre. We choose the hotel upon the reviews, but the reality seems to be other. The reception was dusty, old style. The room was not as described, having poor amenities and comfort, old sheets and ancient furniture (like 70s), and also a smell of mold and not working AC. The main view was in the backyard, very close with the neighbors windows, so we couldnt proper ventilate the room, opening windows. Also, we had to fill a paper with things we want for breakfast, mentioning how many pieces of ham, bread, egs, etc, and was very weird when asking for more bread in the other day, and the guy who served us had to announce the boss about this. After I complained, next day, the room was changed, having an upgrade with the view, and AC, but the other amenities remain the same. Indeed, that was a cleaning lady everyday, bathroom was clean, and towels changed, which I wouldnt find it sustainable. The best thing is the location, having the bus station right in front of the hotel, for the line 2, which connect Mestre with Venice island. I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

  : The staff is very nice, newly renovated bathroom, quite tasty breakfasts, bus stop to venice right at the entrance
  : VERY SMALL room and tiny double bed (seemed to be ca 130cm wide), very slow internet (<10mbps). Very old (70's style?) furniture and equipment. Very loud until late hours, badly insulated so you can hear loud buses and cars passing by. Weird system where you would order certain items for a certain time for breakfast the day before, but when you get there on the selected time, you still wait 15 minutes for the food with the various items arriving minutes apart (scrambled eggs got cold before we got some ham to go with it etc.). Also very cramped car parking and weird setup where you cannot use your car during your stay (you leave it, and its keys while checking in, and get them back on check out).
