  : very nice hotel with nice surroundings, swimming pool, bar area and restaurant. Each room has a garden and/or balcony and overall rooms are very comfy. Good buffet as well (available for breakfast/lunch and dinner). It is a typical "all inclusive" kind of hotel (neither good nor bad per se - so I will be mentioning it both in + and - sections) and clientele is mainly international.
  : Not sure I would have expected from such a premium hotel to have to pay 5 for pool towels, it is actually the first time I see this and sad to see they have to put in place these security measures because people steal towels. It is a typical "all inclusive" kind of hotel (neither good nor bad per se - so I will be mentioning it both in + and - sections) so vibes were very different from the other family owned hotel we have been staying during the trip (again no good or bad per se).

  : Garden area attractive to sit/ lounge in. Attractive and comfortable bar area to sit in. 20 minute walk into Elounda. The staff clearing away plates etc from meal times friendly. Good selections of food for breakfast and evening meal.
  : Didn't feel reception and management cared about the residents once they were there.On arrival, the receptionist was rude in her behaviour. Told the couple in front of us that they had a 'room upgrade', but clearly didn't want us to know, so covered her face with a sheet of paper to hide what she was saying to the gentleman, from us.........it was obvious what she was saying to him. It would have been far better had she said it openly, acknowledging they were 'returning customers.'Our room had not been prepared fully......with the previous occupant's water still in the coffee machine and coffee pods had not been replenished, so too, in the bathroom, with half used shower accessories.When I rang reception to ask for some replacement coffee pods and whether it was possible to have a little milk.......her reply was, "Not everyone likes milk in their coffee, and that I should buy some".........I asked if the kitchen had any we could have.........the answer was "No......it is available at breakfast".Opposite the rooms at the back of the hotel ....there was a private dwelling that had a huge guard dog, who was quite intimidating if you walked in the car park to access Reception......we were woken in early hours on 3 mornings, with this dog barking for a long time .........I mentioned it to 'Reception', once again, it appeared 'they didn't care;, saying "The dog does not belong to the hotel, but she would let the Manager know"...........The Manager made no attempt to make any communications with us.I felt this was poor Customer Relations.At breakfast time, the self service approach was rather congested at times........people queuing at the single Hot Drink Machine, and at the single Bread Cutting area.There were plenty of staff on to clear tables of finished plates........I think they could have also been used to serve people at their tables with hot drinks (to save the queuing up).......
