  : Food was average but should of been better for this standard of hotel. Staff were not always on the ball meaning you had to ask 2 or 3 times for something until they carried it out, this applies to waiting staff and cleaners. Lack of attention to detail.

  : Very friendly staff, service was efficient with no formality,, rooms were relatively spacious and well appointed.Having 2 small private beaches was fantastic to spend lazy afternoons in the sun without having to leave the hotel.Very accommodating of a late check out.Location was very convenient close to Elounda village.
  : The hotel fails to meet 5 star expectations. The lobby and hallways looks dated and could do with a full renovation. Small things such as lift being extremely slow and causing queues at different floors, housekeeping barging in when room is still occupied, let it down tremendously. Buffet food options, whilst plentiful and varied, are of subpar quality.Some restaurants and facilities are shared with the sister resort, but given the fact that the other property is considered more upscale, Elounda Bay residents were very much ignored. We left one of the areas after requesting service 5 times without our request being acknowledged.If I had paid half the price, I probably would have been happy with what was on offer, but at 350 per night, this was a disappointment. Would require significant improvement to be credible as a "leading hotel of the world".

  : We felt the rooms needed a bit of touch up in certain areas.

  : Facilities and the staff, particularly at the restaurant, were outstanding. The buffet catered for every taste and was constantly replenished.
  : The rooms were extremely dated. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, making for a bad nights sleep.

  : Room was very quiet - air conditioning worked well - outside space a bonus. Good pools and beach. Excellent buggy service to take you to other facilities within hotel.
  : Dinner - food was buffet style - too busy. Smaller restaurants were very good but could be expensive.
