  : The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation had a variety of kitchen equipment such as an oven, steamer, washing machine, and dishwasher.
  : Unfortunately, the apartment is very damp and humid, resulting in a constant musty smell. There was air conditioning and heating, but none of the settings could effectively minimize the humidity during our stay. The bed was uncomfortably damp. The mattress was relatively thin and felt worn, which massively affected sleeping comfort. The pool outside the apartment was not cleaned. You did not want to swim in it. Basic amenities included two rolls of toilet paper and three dishwasher tabs for five nights. Considering the price, this seemed a bit stingy. The property is located in a valley, shaded from early afternoon and surrounded by a busy road. It was difficult to leave the property without a car, as walking on the unpaved road was relatively dangerous. The hosts have two large dogs on the property. The dogs are very friendly. However, at the time of booking, there was no indication that there were dogs. Overall, the value for money is not convincing for the standard offered (no breakfast or room service, cleanliness, pool).

  : You feel like you are invading the owners privacy and they make you feel guilty that you are staying there

  : Everything was excellent about the property and the owners. We received a very warm, welcoming reception. The gite is situated in a beautiful Mediterranean landscaped garden with a wonderful swimming pool. The refurbishment of the old Olive Mill and the adjoining gites has been done to a high standard whilst retaining the original character of the buildings. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding area of hilltop towns and it's not far from the coast to enjoy a trip to Cannes, Antibes or even further afield. Travel by car or train from Grasse provides easy access to the Cote d'Azur.
  : The only real negative was the turn out from the property onto the main road. To holidaymakers less used to French roads, the turn out felt quite hazardous at times.

  : The beautiful house, the large well furnished room, the pool and gardens and most of all, the owners and their family.
  : The location meant you needed to do a lot of difficult driving to explore the surrounds.

  : The property, pool and building (a converted olive oil manufacturer) were exceptional and interesting. The staff and owners were pleasant and helpful. The pool and breakfast area are lovely. The rooms are exceptionally large and well equipped with towels, toiletries, furniture. Breakfast was plentiful, including pastries, orange juice, coffee as you prefer it, yogurt, granola, the offer to cook eggs, and so on.
  : Location was a bit off the beaten path, and in a congested part of Grasse, but once we were within the gates of the property, it was calm, peaceful and relaxing. You feel like you are in the countryside, but you are actually in the suburban outskirts of a historic village.

  : The rooms are very large and well-equipped. The pool is lovely. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Staff are very attentive. Its an interesting place, having been an olive oil production building and a water mill. Wonderful keeping the windows open and hearing the water.
