: Place looked beautiful from the gate.
: Never got inside the door, the host was very cross with us as we arrived an hour and a half earlier than check in time. Reason was we were just checking out parking as we had a campervan to park and wanted to know where to go, as the streets at the place were very narrow and no real parking for us. We had checked this out the day before and rang her but she just said it would be fine. We were always going to head away again and come back at check in time. When I got there the door was locked and I had to ring a bell at the door but didn't realise it went to her phone and that she wasn't actually there. That just set the tone. She was hostile from the start and wouldn't listen to our reasoning so we decided not to stay and in fairness she refunded us.I was amazed as her reviews are so good, but with us she was hostile and actually quite aggressive from first meeting us, she pointed into my face several times and put her hands on me which I asked her not to do. I've never experienced this before in all my travelling, to be fair we only arrived early to enquire re the parking, we thought it was a fully staffed reception where in fact she was only due to arrive to meet us at 3. I understood this and apologised but she wouldn't accept that at all so we decided the best thing to do was leave.

: Nice enough, very designer. Comfortable with off street parking.
: Deceptively long way out. A bus ride to the centre. Bizarrely mosquitoes in room which we didnt expect in early April. Bitten.

: Luxurious accommodation with thoughtful touches throughout. Quality pillows and linen. Good breakfast with choice of sweet and savoury. Good location with easy bus access to town centre

: We had a great welcome from Bianca. As the property only has 6 guest rooms there is a very personal touch here. We had the smallest room but it had been cleverly designed so that nothing was lacking. Much thought has obviously gone into the design and decoration. We slept well is a very comfortable bed. If the weather had been better we would like to have sat in the lovely garden area. Excellent breakfast served between 09.00 and 10.00.

: Everything was perfect in Villa Birdie. The host is amzaing, the breakfast, the house, the pool. Everything super clean and very quiet for a nice weekend.
