  : Location was central for transport, shops, beach and Old Town. Euskotren station 7 minutes walk, 15-20 minutes to main rail station, and 10+ minutes to bus station. Room was warm and comfortable with added bonus of small fridge and kettle. Outside on the landing there is a small area with microwave, coffe machine and and some provisions. Bathroom was small but with everything that you would need. Everything was very clean and there was daily cleaning as in a hotel. Both host and cleaner were kind and attentive. It was noticed that I was a tea drinker (I brought my own teabags) and provided milk.
  : It's a traditional building so stairs are steep and there is no lift to the pension. However the host helped me with my suitcase. Noises from the adjoining building was a problem in my first room. However when I brought it to attention, another room was provided which was quiet.

  : Centrally located Pension within walking distance to most everything. Quiet and clean. Friendly service at front desk. Coffee machine available in the hall (but better to buy your own Nescafe capsules as other guests tend to use them. No milk or creamer though.
  : Too expensive for the room. Miniscule bathroom that anyone that is a little overweight would be challenged to negotiate sitting on the toilet.

  : I had an amazing week at Pension Easo, it's so close to Kontxa and it's amazing when you can just quickly walk to the beach as soon as you wake up, I was there every morning. I loved the fact that there is a fridge in the room and a kettle, and there is a communal coffee machine too. Many nice places around like La Issla cafe and a hostel next to it that has a lovely garden where you can get a drink. Pilar is amazing, I had a sensory issue that she helped me with very quickly, she is very attentive and an excellent hostess. Also, I'd like to say I had an interior room and I was afraid it would be too dark but it was actually really nice, the inner yard is actually lovely with some nice plants around. The wifi is awesome. As a solo female traveller I really felt safe here. Such a lovely place!
