  : A nightmare for the environmentally consciousThis hotel is a fairly recent gut-renovation / reconstruction of an old building, and displays several well-thought out design features. So imagine our surprise upon discovering that the heat in the room can not be controlled, and that the only way to get below 75 F / 24 C is to keep the window wide open, heat blasting. The hotel staff was initially unresponsive, then decided to visit the room (no success in turning down the heat), before offering an upgrade to a larger (but equally hot) room (which we refused). There was no acknowledgment of our discomfort (the windowless bathroom was worse than the room, with a super hot radiator that you could not turn off or down), nor any sort of understanding of how fundamentally wrong it is to waste energy in this manner. The lobby (with a 4-story high ceiling) and the hallways were also well above 23C/75F. We advise anyone with a minimum of environmental consciousness - and everyone looking for a minimum of comfort - to avoid this hotel.

  : Unfortunately we didn’t have a fabulous stay. A lot of small mishaps as well as big one’s.It started of with a big black hair on the bathroom counter top, no body wash instead 2 bottles of shampoo, the shower didn’t work well the water would go from cold to hot back to cold again. We had booked two rooms and had specified that there were dogs in each room. One room had a dog basket and bowls the other one didn’t. One room was booked for 2 adults ans one child but the sofa bed was not made up so my 12 year old brother ended up sleeping with my parents...We ordered room service and it was simply terrible... I invite the manager to try out the vegetable stew...The fries of the club sandwich and the “mixed” tuna salad, with nothing but lettuce and canned tuna. We ordered 4 meals and somebread on the side but got one set of cutlery and no bread. We asked the waiter to kindly bring us the bread and more cutlery ans got 3 forks ... no knives. A little complicated for stew and salad...My father complained at the reception and a staff member basically replied “what do you expect on the 31st, it’s a busy day for us”... We paid 600€ for two rooms and are very disappointed for the value of money. We come from a family of hotel managers and are used to traveling.We received a 3 star hotel service with a 5 star hotel price.

  : not very dog friendly .Was told I could only leave dog unaccompanied in room if he was in a cage but I had no prior warning of this .Made eating out trickydidn’t like lay out of hotel …multiple lifts and confusing corridors

  : Bar Staff in evening were unfriendly. Keen only to close bar at 11:00. Arrived back at 10:50 for a night cap, with closed barrier up. Immediate response - no food. Tolerated to have one drink, even though others in bar
