  : The location is fantastic! Walking to the beaches, old town, city anywhere, even to the bus station. Very convenient !!Continental but breakfast was served at the dining room, which is convenient.
  : Even the solo traveller, room was super tiny, even the shower cube was tiny, the room facing no view with an internal window but noise travelling from everywhere.

  : The hostel is very centrally located, 15 mins walk from the bus station. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was continental, and served with super efficiency. I had a nice room that even had a small balcony. I would stay here again should I revisit San Sebastian. I would happily recommend a stay at this hostal.

  : Nothing really, but I was only there 2 nights, so I just made the best of it. It probably seemed worse because I had just come from the Yoldi in Pamplona, which was exceptional
  : The night clerk obviously hates his job. He wasn't in the least bit helpful. Because my train was more than an hour late and there was a meeting of cab drivers, I did not get to the hotel until after 10 o'clock. I rang the bell and I finally heard a weak click. While I was struggling to get my bag on wheels and my packpack up the stairs, some other people started frantically pounding on the door for me to let them in. He apparently wasn't around to buzz them in. He seemed uninterested. The day woman was good, though. Some coins fell out of my pocket and rolled under the bed. When I looked under the bed I was shocked to see about a half inch of "dust bunnies" that covered the entire area under the bed. who knows the last time it was vacuumed, if ever? The breakfast was barely acceptable: one large croissant that was sticky, so you didn't want to pick it up. There were no extra napkins. Was I supposed to lick my fingers? One chunk of white bread with an extremely hard crust. One very small store-bought muffin wrapped in cellophane. One packet of butter one day 2 packets the other day, 2 packets of jelly one day, 4 packets of jelly on the other day. The coffee, though, was at least passable. No glass of water on either day. One small glass of orange juice one day, none on the other.
