Located on Ibiza Town’s Dalt Vila Hill this property offers fantastic views of the sea port and town. It offers late breakfast and air-conditioned rooms. The hotel consists of three different buildings connected by a terrace with a solarium. La Torre del Canónigo is built on the grounds of the city’s Roman acropolis within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel rooms feature terracotta floors and traditional Balearic décor.

Each one has its own décor and includes a satellite TV DVD player free minibar safe and free WiFi. The hotel has a bar and a roof terrace where you can enjoy your drink. : Not really a hotel all the rooms are all over and are very tiny unless you pay a lot extra for an outside bit Theres stairs everywhere very hilly. Not good for babies/ children The view was nice. We didnt get breakfast included in the price (which was crazy) you only get 2 small bottles of water and 2 coke. Theres no shop no where near for water nibbles etc They do pick you up from a certain point in a small car to get you to your room with cases etc, and if you want to get down to the bottom of the town they give you a lift to a drop off point. They dont tell you about the lift service before you arrive so make sure you have the number for them to pick you up where the taxi drops you off, the taxi only goes to a certain point. You are not guaranteed a balcony it is just a window if thats whats left.

: Be sure to book a standard room for extra space. The basic room is extremely small for 2 people.

: The location in the Old Town was excellent. The Staff were exemplary - so friendly and helpful. The views from the restaurant, where we had breakfast, were superb. Free lifts by hotel cars to and from the main town were a bonus. Breakfasts were very good, served with a smile, with gluten free choices. The interior design and landscaping are very atmospheric.
: The hotel is split between three houses - the basic rooms, in the Corsario house, are very cramped and fall far behind the space standards one would expect in a hotel of this rating. The beds fill the room so there is very little room for two people to move around. The bath rooms are too small and there is no room for toiletries around the sink area My wife and I changed rooms three times, so that we could get the comfort of a larger room in the main building. Beware of steps, especially in the Corsario building, where the breakfast is taken. Anyone with mobility problems should check carefully - there is a Stanner Lift in the main building, but access to breakfast would be extremely difficult. I could go on, but it was such a shame that these poor standards off-set the positive features of this hotel, which are well-documented.
