Apartamentos Cala Galdana

Disappointing

: Booking an apartment is useful when you stay a longer period. We stayed only 2 nights and could not make optimal use of it.
: Entering the apartment there was already a smell, its very humid. The apartment was not clean, many hairs could be found on the floor but worst were the cockroaches that we found. We killed 6 in our stay and this made us sleep very poorly. We didnt see anyone from the apartment. Also the balcony was not a pleasant one to sit down. So we still went out every lunch and dinner.

: Everything was fine apart from bedroom not having its own air conditioning and if privacy wanted from living area when sleeping bedroom was then too hot. Felt it was overpriced though by around 70 euros a night, but location was excellent and Cala galdana is. Lovely resort
  : As above

: The property was clean and tidy with a wonderful outside area with sunbeds, a table and chairs. We had a burst water pipe outside, this was reported and the plumber arrived very quickly and repaired it. We had a problem with the shower and again, this was fixed very quickly. The pool area was nice and rarely busy. The accommodation was in a good location and just a short walk from the beach and restaurants.
: I did not receive details on how to check in and enter the property. There was no reception to check in so I called the contact telephone number - I was then given the instructions perfectly. We were in apartment number 4 which is quite high up. 60 stairs to get to the property which in the heat can be quite hard going (especially if you weren't expecting it), carrying suitcases and shopping up there was certainly challenging. It would have been nice for the filter in the pool to be on every day as some days it was quite cloudy and had lots of bugs and plant debris visible.

Very Poor

: The apartment was very old and in desperate need of maintenance, we regretted booking it. The bathroom sink is sinking and tilted, so when the tap is on, the water leaks onto the floor, making the bathroom floor wet at all times and very slippery. Similar issue with the kitchen sink. The listing also has a lot of misleading information, as it mentions the property provides facilities such as washing machine, dryer, water bottle and free toiletries, but none of those were available. Even after complaining that we only booked this accommodation because we were travelling for a long period of time and we needed to wash our kids' clothes, they didn't really care and said they would tell the owner but there's nothing they could do. This place is terrible and poorly managed, we don't recommend.

: Great location, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, cozy feel.
: There is no washing machine while the description in the booking says the opposite.

: The apartment itself is beautiful and the location is pretty good.
: It does have an ant problem in the kitchen. They didn't cause us much trouble and all but disappeared by the third day, but still not the kind of guests you like in your kitchen. No fault of the apartment, but music from a nearby restaurant or hotel would play really loud until late, making it hard to sleep. How that venue gets away with that horrible and loud music is beyond me.

: Location was amazing. And decor was great. Host was lovely and very accommodating.
: It smelt damp. Especially in the kitchen and back bedroom. Also the twin beds were very uncomfortable.
