  : All in all very pleasant overnight stay in Duisburg, walking distance from the central station and restaurants and cafes, but in a quiet street. Our rooms were spotless clean, spacious, with comfortable beds and everything else we needed for an overnight stay. You need to know that the reception is only in a partner hotel across the street, but the reception lady was very friendly and walked us over to Ferrotel to show and explain everything directly in our building. A mini-breakfast (a croissant, an apple and a hot drink: coffee/tea) was included and we treated it as a bonus to get us going in the morning. It is definitely not a full buffet breakfast.
  : We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and needed to book 2 double rooms (there was no more availability for family rooms anywhere near Duisburg train station). I obviously asked for a neighboring rooms, we got the same floor, but not really neighboring. We could have got 2 rooms just facing each other but instead we had to run back and forth the whole corridor. When traveling with kids this is crucial.
