  : My Van was badly broken into in the hotel car park over night, the manager disturbed the scum who were breaking in, but he DID NOT ALERT ME at the time ! I left early in the morning before staff on duty and It took 2 days to get to speak to somebody at the hotel about it, ( calls not returned) only then did i find out the manager see what had happened and never alerted me but had called the Police , my vehicle was left open after all night after the damage done, I still could not get through to actually speak to the manager he got an assistant to speak to me , I understand another vehicle was broken in to as well at that time. Im so angry and unhappy with how the hotel handled this, Ive complained to Green King. APAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE

  : The room smelt musty. The plastic coating on the headboards was all peeling off. Marked and damaged walls. Stains on lampshades. Worn chairs in room. The brass coating on the lights and sockets has worn off.

  : The staff were friendly enough, their service was good. The bed was comfortable.
  : The rooms smelled terrible, like a musty, damp smell and at one point my room smelled like animal urine. I had friends staying in another room and when we entered there room, it also smelled. The building looks like it’s falling apart, and hasn’t had a bit of tlc in a long time. I’ve stayed in other hotels connected to pubs and in small towns, and while they all have a bit of rustic charm to them, this place was not reflective of that. It was disappointing to say the least.
