  : Unfortunately on Friday my partner had an accident and we ended up with him in hospital for two days and a three hour surgery. I had booked to stay at the Plough for my mums 60th who currently is going through cancer treatment on Friday night. I spoke with a very nice member of the team on the phone to let them know we would not be able to stay that night. He said he would get the team to contact me to talk about the cancellation policy. I also followed up with an email. I understand this was a no cancellation, no transfer policy however thought human kindness might prevail and at least allow us to rebook another time if they didnt want to give my money back given extenuating circumstances. I, at a bare minimum, thought someone would bother to reply to my email. Im really disappointed.

  : Fabulous staff who were very attentive. The rooms were to a high standard with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was a mix of continental cereals and also cooked options. Would definitely stay again.
