  : The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with only a two minute walk to the town centre and sea front. Plenty of little shops to browse and nice restaurants. Parking permit and hamper was a good bonus. The area was nice and quiet except for the occasional seagull
  : Parking was a bit hit and miss but we eventually found a spot. The rear yard could do with a jet wash otherwise everything was good.

  : Very lovely apartment, so comfortable - close to everything you need in Whitby but far enough away from the crowds. Definitely recommend!
  : Only thing I would say is that the neighbours upstairs could be noisy - but I appreciate it is an old building and noise carries!

  : The little touches in the apartment were a lovely gesture Such as the little welcome hamper Everything is there to accommodate you when you first arrive
  : Parking was easy to obtain in the area so I paid extra to park at the silver street car park WiFi didnt seem to work for some reason

  : clean and very close to were we normally stay in Whitby
  : the people up stairs were so loud it sounded like they were in our room talking and then pulling out chairs that was so loud. the bed makes such a noise and creaks so much so when you roll over it kept waking me up.

  : I loved the fresh clean look of the apartment. The welcome goodies from Bothams. The fab frying pan I'm off to buy one .the Denby crockery and pans . Nice white bedding and towels and extra toiletries if forgot anything. The art work was fab and obviously local . Picnic blanket and hamper. Parking was a little difficult but always managed to get parked directly outside the parking permit was a great extra but dont forget to change it or use it as the holiday makers next door got a parking ticket!!!. The Riddle is so cosy and comfortable with a cute family history. Have you not got a comment book in The Riddle ????? I would loved to have wrote this ,for all to see.
  : The lock on the apartment door was very hard to lock unlock .

  : Everything else was near perfect.Very generous welcome pack.Very clean and fresh decor and furnishings. Plenty of hanging space. Very well equipped throughout. Spacious bathroom. Great location.
  : We did hear the upstairs residents first thing in the morning. Just voices and occasional chair moving etc

  : Location was perfect. Everything available that you could possibly need and a welcome pack. Modern style and in great condition
  : Was supposed to be a parking voucher left in the apartment so that we could park for free in the local area, this was missing. Nobody contactable and the next day was bank holiday so no-one contactable from Sykes Cottages. Solved by Yorkshire Coastal cottages office giving us a voucher but was a hassle. Upstairs property kept on leaving outside door open and dogs were a little noisy in that same apartment.

  : we were only supplied with 2 days parking and got a parking ticket. the neighbours were very vocal about the fact that they did not like us parking there and blocked us in, not the owners fault but I would definitely not describe it as having parking.
