  : The bar shuts at 9.30 pm, so it was closed when we returned from our meal out.

  : Pub itself
  : The rooms were standalone at rear of pub. The problem is that the rooms had a 2 metre high wall within 1 metre of the bifold doors in the room. So zero view and no windows to open. You could open the bifold door but the rooms are on ground floor so not an option to sleep with the doors open.

  : The price, very friendly staff, ample parking, large room with good shower, and most of the food was very good
  : Have slept in more comfortable beds, the pillows were fairly hard, and the hairdryer only worked for 5 seconds. The food was good except for the chicken pie dish which had a thick crust, dry chicken in it with little taste, and it was swimming in gravy

  : Breakfast was fine...the staff were good, generally the room was fine but the bathroom didnt match the room. Great location to explore the Wiltshire Downs
  : The bathroom was in need of a refit, hot water tap constantly dripping, toilet seat well lose, shower cubicle grouting not good...on the turn. I would say generally needs a bit of a shake up as it has the potential to be a cracking location but let down by, cleanliness' which could be better and the staff better trained to deal with residents. I say this as I asked about my Sunday evening meal whilst having breakfast and was given a set times which I adhered to but later that afternoon when I turned up for my meal the restaurant had already closed, so I had to venture out into town to grab my evening meal. Strict logging in every morning with my car registration to prevent me from receiving a fine from the automated carpark cctv monitoring system... if you forget you get fined.

  : Everything, the appearance on arrival was delightful. More than adequate parking. Staff were all very pleasant, breakfasts were nicely cooked and very generous. Room, bed linen and ensure clean, bed comfortable.
  : Hairdryer broken, nothing else. We liked everything.

  : Reported TV not working , no one even came to look at it , but I was told to have a pint on the house as a way of recompense.We Also stayed there in October 2023 in the same room and the TV didnt work then either , although I understand the property is now up for sale.
