  : The bedding was clean, the towels were clean and a good size. The balconies are a nice addition to the property. Once in contact with the owner communication was good and they were helpful.
  : An additional 150 deposit is required, but the accommodation is not what is represented in the photo's. There were marks and stains everywhere, greece stains from someone's head on the wall by the sofa. There were a lot of things broken, including glass doors which is not safe for children. There are fire doors on every door but no door stops, so constantly slamming doors and propping them open with shoes or towels. The couch was dirty and different to the one in the pictures......the TV in room 2 didn't work. There was no clear instructions on where to put rubbish, the bin was too small for the amount on guests the property can accommodate. Bed bases were stained and not covered. The location is terrible and far away from everything, down a very run down driveway which is very unpleasant. The property is misrepresented and overpriced. Would never stay again

  : Before submitting this review I did make contact with Booking.com who informed the owners of the property about the complaints I am about to mention. They responded with there is nothing that could be done to compensate the non stay at Lakeview Apartments. This response obviously being very disappointing. The Booking was made for 4 people for a 3 night stay. Upon arriving at this property they were greeted at the entrance by a crowd who were smoking cannabis and drinking and making a lot of noise. This noise could be heard through the windows from the apartment that had been checked into. Upon entering the apartment that had been allocated we were greeted by an old, dirty disused mattress in the hallway, not what someone would expect to come across! Within one of the four bedrooms, there was cigarette ash on the bed! One of the three bathrooms didnt have running water. Within one of the four bedrooms there was a plug socket hanging off the wall. Would be interesting to see the latest electrical inspection certificate? Within the room with the balcony door, it appeared that the balcony door could not be closed, meaning this wouldve had to stay open all night whilst the person in that room was sleeping and would have had to remain open when we left the property the following day leaving our belongings at risk. Within another bedroom the glass wardrobe door was smashed and there were shards of glass on the floor, not big pieces but enough to cut someones foot if they were to walk around barefoot! yet another hazard within the property. With all of the above we decided that we were not going to stay at the property and found alternative accommodation. For anyone who is looking at this property for a night/s away I would recommend you avoid at all costs.
