  : The booking advert announced 2 double beds and 1 single bed, however no single bed was available. We were 4 adults: 1 couple and 2 single ones that had to share the bed, this created a awkward moment.

  : the large sofa and chair were not comfortable for two 60+ guests and a 92 year old. father in law didnt like the fact that the door to the stairs, door from hall to lounge and large bedroom door either would not latch or needed some persuasion. welcome book is well out of date and more information regarding parking would have been helpful

  : Beautiful location overlooking the Murk Esk, and having the steam train go past so close was lovely. Beautiful walks on your doorstep and more by car. Well stocked shop so close is great too, and the Crossing Club pub literally behind the cottage. Small rooms but surprisingly good storage.
  : Nothing really - would maybe have liked a small table and 2 chair set on the balcony - the wooden box got wet in the rain and couldn't seat 2 anyway. A bin in the bedroom would be good too. Bigger TV would be good - we both struggled to see it and had to move the unit nearer the settee.
