NOX HOTELS - West End Lane I

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: Great location and price. Clean. Comfy bed

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Located conveniently
: Receptionist, noise, lighting, decor, entrance- I could go on

Good
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
: Location, friendly staff, no hassle
: Room could do with updating; a bit noisy at night

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Just the location
: We costantly heard trembling during the night until early morning, for 4 nights. We asked the reception what was it and she was very skeptical about it and didn't tell us anything. There was no bidet, no hair phone (we asked the reception for one), the bathroom was too small even for just one person and the structure was very old and not so clean.

: Apartment was great value for money and had everything you could hope for, including a full kitchenette. check in process was faultless and simple. Location was close to underground and overground services, meaning it was simple to travel to more central locations. Even though it was close to a main road, apartment was well insulated and quiet.
  : Nothing.

Fair
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Close to my son's school
: I understand that they don't have elevator but the carpet in the stairs is very worn out. The duvet smelled bad and we asked the receptionist to be changed to no avail

: Tje location and the room was comfortable.
: I had a problem collecting the keys on Saturday morning. I was told that I could collect the keys when the office opened. I waited from 10.30am until 11.08am only to be told that the guest was still in the room and I could get the keys. I was not happy with this. She asked how I would feel if I was in the room and she knocked on the door. I said I had used many hotel rooms In my life and never had this problem. The only reason I thought I would collect the keys was my sister & husband would be staying that night and won't get there until 11pm. I said I could not not wait. She then told me that I would get get an email when the office was closed, with instructions on how to get the key. She could have told me this before. I did not get the message so had to call at 7pm. I was horrified by this level of service. Very different experience the first time I booked. The chap who spoke to me was helpful and sent full instructions. This was appreciated.

: Location was great, huge room, very clean!
: We got locked in the room, we called reception who opened it and said it had happened a few times. If there had been a fire we would have been stuck.
