  : Disliked · Music in all the downstairs rooms was obligatory. The internet didn’t work in my attic room, so I had to sit downstairs. Requests to turn off the music since I was the only guest about were refused. A ‘turn down’ produced little effect.This meant that if you wanted a quiet read, the only option was to retire to your room.A

  : Parking was easily available, which is a premium in the town and a consideration when deciding to pay the premium price over other hotel options. We were greeted by very friendly staff on arrival and our room was ready early which was great.Breakfast was excellent, and again staff were very attentive.
  : The room was very small and dark, hardly room for two people to move around, the bathroom was even more compact, and the only window was very small having little affect when we opened it to try to air the room, seemed little point asking to be moved at the time as we were only staying one night.For some reason the heating came on in the night making it a very uncomfortable night on a hot weekend in June, when I mentioned it on checkout, I was told it was my own fault, I should have known to get up in the night to go around and turn off all the radiators! This attitude was not appreciated.The bed frame was unclean, with a layer of dust, I didn't bother mentioning this after the reaction I received when I mentioned the heating.
