  : The property was good, great location, friendly, however our room was the attic so low ceilings, lots of stairs and very warm but everywhere was spotlessly clean and we would go again

  : The room was large. The facilities were clean. The common area was incredible, and the staff let us have our takeaway dinner there providing us with utensils and cleaning our dishes.
  : Accommodation on a busy road and our room was in the front. There were no noise issues with the windows shut, but the weather was warm, and we had the windows open. Few services within walking distance.

  : Location was ok and the staff was polite
  : Bed sheets had stains on them! One of the towels we were given had what looked like a pubic hair tangled in it. We just didn't use it and tossed it aside. Carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time.Bathroom was ridiculously small and mirror was ridiculously low (you had to bend over to see yourself). The street was very loud!

  : Lovely welcome from StJohn, after a long drive. Bedroom was huge! It looked newly decorated, fresh and airy. The bed was also huge and very comfortable. I liked the photos everywhere and the information about them gave a really good introduction to Gloucester. The staff were wonderful, really lovely. The garden was pretty and I regret not getting a cutting of the fuschia! LOL
  : The dining room is a little bare and old fashioned, but as other areas have been refurbished, this is perhaps on their agenda. Having said that, the scrambled eggs were delicious and the coffee was also good. I would have liked to know I could have had a cafeteria from our first day, rather than having to pump hot water into a mug. I didn't like that. A pot is way classier - same for the tea. And hotter.The shower room is compact. The towel rail is rusty. BUT having seen some of the other bathrooms (gorgeous ones) it is possibly also on their 'to do' list. The towels were pristine, the water was hot and the toiletries smelled really good. The wardrobe is TINY! We left most of our clothes in our cases and rotated them. Oh the fridge grumbles on and off every ten minutes or so 24/7.
