  : My friend met the host who gave her all the pertinent information, and the keys. A well organised flat, with excellent wifi connection. Very quiet at night (not so in the morning, see below for that!) Shower very good. Good fridge/freezer in Kitchen, lots of other things which we didnt get around to using like washing machine etc. Well stocked with kit. Nice area.
  : The main thing we didnt like was we didnt know there was building work going on very close to the apartment beforehand. That started very early. One morning trucks and cranes arrived at 6.30am and the pile drivers and reversing bleeps from the cranes etc started bang on 7am all three mornings we were there. We were out from the flat around 10am every day but it was very noisy in the living whilst we were there. The other thing was the sofa bed mattress which needed a refurb, you could feel every spring.

  : During our stay there happened to be construction work in the street. At the strike of 7am the builders made it known their work day had started.

  : Location was great, very convenient for city trips and quiet (despite the ongoing building site next door)
  : Sofa bed on which our daughter slept is a bit soft, shower temperature control needs looked at

  : The apartment is located 20mins walk from the Golden Mile, so we were able to explore the city on foot. The equipment was perfect, we found everything we needed during our stay. Steven, our host, gave us the keys to access the flat and was very helpful in giving us initial directions to nearby supermarkets and points of interest in the city. We will definitely come back again when we return to Edinburgh.

  : The only thing lacking was a view, however we were only in at night so it didnt matter.
