Modern 3 bed flat in quiet BRIGHTON location

  : The location was quite good. There was a lovely park nearby. The size of the bedrooms was good.
  : The apartment wasn't clean, there were various stains and my children couldn't walk bare foot as their feet got covered in dirt. The windows were unsafe for a stay with small children as there weren't any safety locks. One of the windows opened straight onto a stairwell on the second floor that anyone could access. The apartment was very hot but we were unable to safely leave windows open. It was hard to communicate issues with the property owner. Two of the bedrooms were opposite other flats and cars parking. There were bright lights coming on throughout the night and the curtains in the bedrooms were thin and didn't block out any light. The showers were also a problem as the screen wasn't big enough to stop the water soaking the floor. It then became very slippery and dangerous. No bath mats were provided or hand towels. We cut our stay short from 3 nights to 2 as we felt it wasn't clean enough or safe enough. The owner didn't respond to messages to confirm our early departure or address our concerns.

  : Fantastic location, just a short walk to the seafront which was perfect. Easy to park near the flat and not too expensive at all for Brighton. Great host who was quick to respond to any messages sent both leading up to the stay and during it. Nice to be supplied with 2 towels each which were requested prior to the stay - girls do like things like this ;-) All 3 bedrooms were really light and spacious, all with very comfortable double beds and good lighting for make-up. Great to have 2 bathrooms too. The flat was reasonably nicely decorated.
  : Broken coffee table in living room area which was very unstable for putting drinks on. No wine glasses or bottle opener which I would consider a must for self-catering accommodation. There were quite a few spots of mould in the ensuite which was quite off-putting. And in the other bathroom the toilet could have done with a serious de-scale at the bottom of the bowl. Finally the overall standard of cleanliness just wasn't there with the sofa's looking like they needed a good vacuum and dust and the bed linen just not quite as pristine as it could have been. All these things would be really easy to resolve, and if they were would take the property from Good to Excellent in me and my friends opinion.

  : Missing curtains, pole not fixed and fell on son when drawing curtains. Mould in bathroom. Property not cleaned, dirty furniture and duvets. Fridge didn't work so owner has put in two stand alone small ones which takes up more room. Apartment not equipped, not even any wine glasses or bottle opener. Standard items for a self catering property Very disappointing, especially with the cleanliness given covid!! Felt very uncomfortable and it was extremely overpriced. Photos on the advert are not a reflection of what this flat is like.

  : Spacious accomodation with 6 beds in 3 bedrroms, 1 is en-suite. Location is good in the sense that it's quiet & only a short walk downhill into town & beach, St Annes Well Gardens very close by. Spacious lounge/diner/kitchen area. Good for pet dog.
  : Kitchen poorly equipped - Pots & pans (all new) supplied didn't work on convection hob so couldn't use them. No plug for kitchen sink. Main bathroom shower drain blocked & flooded the bathroom floor when used, Quite expensive.

  : we were changed to another property last minute which was fine as there was nothing else available, the location was great everything in walking distance
  : cleanliness wasnt the best, broken door handles, holes in walls & doors, smashed mirror, cigarette butts everywhere too. there was no clothing storage space or an iron and when we asked for an iron we were told one would be dropped up to us but never was.
