  : The location is perfect, our room was very spacious and the pool facility was great.
  : We found the furniture quite dated and the bathroom and we were not very impressed with breakfast on our 2nd morning. The service was very slow for the hot breakfast and the continental options had run out and it took quite a while to be topped up so we were left sitting there with nothing to eat.

  : Very slow check in. One receptionist on duty at 3pm (check in time) Waited 50mins in lobby to check in and only two ahead of us in queue. Poor choice of breakfast buffet. Tired decor in dining room.

  : Location was perfect, right near the pubs and lake. Everything in walking distance which was ideal. The older lady at the spa was lovely and so accommodating. Spa facilities were good too, lovely sauna, ice room, pool
  : We were put in such a noisy room opposite the pub - we asked to move (keep same type room just quieter) and we were told we had to pay 70 to move rooms. We had no choice because we wanted a relaxing stay so we paid, it was an awful start to the relaxing anniversary break we wanted. The porter actually joked and said well if you stayed in Blackpool youd have noise - thats exactly why we booked for Windermere and not Blackpool, we wanted quiet. We complained the next day and this 70 was refunded. No manger was available in the evening, just porter staff.Breakfast was 40 minutes delayed, I asked for no fat on bacon and it came back with thick fat chunks - sent back and had 10 minute extra wait. There was no order to the service, people who had just sat down had their food and service before us, we had to wave down twice to get coffee and order food. Eventually the couple next to us made a complaint on our behalf saying it wasnt acceptable as we were much earlier to our table than them.The decor was horrendous, surprisingly the double standard room was gorgeous compared to the more expensive ones - bit tiny but interior was classy, much classier than the other more expensive ones!

  : Over Priced, Staff was not very friendly. If someone needs a Cab, very inconvenient and has to be pre-booked well in advance and that can also be a problem.
