  : Spare bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable. Spare room was more for kids, we were 2 adults. Bathroom very noisy as there were 2 units. Could hear neighbor snoring.

  : We are not boat people and felt the accommodations were a little cramped. The shower issues made it inconvenient to have to go up to the marina to take a nice shower without the drain issues.

  : The area was great for getting in and out of Belfast.
  : As soon as we got there we tried the code but it was for the other accommodation above us. This isn't made clear on the photos. There were stains on the bedding,dust everywhere even hanging from the ceiling. The cups where stained.The floor was dirty with soil and popcorn. Down the side of the settee was full of crumbs and food stuff. The wall from the front door looked like there was blood on,the coffee canister had very hard coffee with looked like hair inside,unusable and there was a poo in the toilet.i have looked at reviews and all looked fine until you scroll further you see things about the cleanliness and I don't think this is a one off or taken seriously.This was a treat and surprise for my grandaughters and I was so disappointed as had been really looking forward to staying.I rang the owner who was very apologetic and said she would come the next day to sort it out and didnt know it was so bad as she herself had done a deep clean on the Monday(we arrived the Saturday)and it had just been painted,I think she was mistaken for another property. We stayed out as much as possible and the owner never came once my daughter stated we were taking this further, my daughter had to take over correspondence with the owner as I was so upset. I compained to bookings.com and told them my upset and sent photo's and the owner got back stating we had moved furniture but bookings said they couldn't see evidence of this which is correct as we never moved anything and even if we had the place was supposed to have had a deep clean?.I tried looking at other places but they were too expensive for last minute booking for 4, so we had to stay there.There was no little care pack either not even milk which with every stay we have been to have had this. The area was lovely just a shame about the cleanliness and lack of care.

  : Fantastic location, shops and cafe's close by (Spar is excellent), walking distance to the Titanic museum. About 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Belfast which is pleasant along the waterfront. The Barge itself was lovely, felt cosy, beautifully decorated and thought through - had enough amenities for our use. The gentle swaying of the barge was relaxing and the views of the waterfront were stunning. As the marina was a locked area there weren't loads of passers by.
  : The bathroom is very cramped, however the shower in comparison was a good size. Would be nice if they provided hand soap. There are small patches of damp mold on the ceiling in the smaller bedroom and bathroom, due to poor ventilation. The mold can be cleaned away quite easily with a damp cloth, but needs to be addressed for health reasons. The fridge could be bigger.

  : We all loved the quirkiness of the Barge and its location. The living room was a great size for 4 people to enjoy a morning coffee or relax after a days shopping. Also the shower was a lot bigger than expected with instant hot water. Owners were very quick to reply to our questions.We only made a tea/coffee and could do with a small microwave.
  : The outside was unusable as the seating was covered in green mould and decking was slippery. Their was not a lot of storage areas for a suitcase as the rooms are smaller than we thought, and what storage areas there are have been filled with paint tins and oars for a deflated dingy. The towels were kept in such a cupboard and none matched and were different sizes and shapes. Nothing a good clean and tidy up would sort.The Barge at Titanic would be not suitable foe people with mobility issues as the double bed in the Harland apartment is reachable via a ladder and a top bunk accessible by climbing up the furniture, and the steps from the kitchen to bedrooms and living room are steep and narrow.

  : The barge is perfectly located about 5 minutes walk from the Titanic exhibition, which was one of the main purposes of our trip. It is also a stones throw from Belfast City Airport which is really handy. Wolff berth was very clean and well-appointed. We had most things youd except in a boat kitchenette; small kettle and fridge, crockery and cutlery, glasses and mugs. Wolff berth also has two good sized bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4 people. The shower is a good size and is powerful enough. The views are lovely, and the marina facilities (large shower/toilet wet room) are also great if you prefer to use them.
  : The patio is very small in Wolff, as is the wash-hand basin, and we had a slight toilet issue, but we are used to boats and campervans, so we know that these things can occasionally happen. The host was always available on the phone and happy to assist and advise.

  : I'm sorry but neither my wife or I liked the barge. The owner was extremely helpful when I contacted her on arrival, texting me details of how to access and then messaging again to make sure we had got in ok. I'd love to say it was what we were expecting and maybe our hopes were too high but it was definitely middle 3 star rather than 4 star. The facilities were very basic with zero cooking facilities other than a microwave hidden in a cupboard, the inside had a mouldy smell and I know it is a barge on a marina but air fresheners would have been a thoughtful touch, the carpets were worn and so were the kitchen units. Outside on the decking area there was a deflated dinghy that hadnt been moved for years and was covered in mould It really was a huge disappointment.
