  : There are construction projects all around the hotel so you cannot reach it by car because the area near it is closed. The room did not have enough light with quite dark paint. I had to use the pipe to wash as the sink was completely jammed

  : I think the location of the hotel is perfect especially if you're thinking about crossing over to the Asian side of Istanbul. The ferry is steps away and the tram is a short walk away if you want to go over to the other end of the European side. The historical sites are about 20 minutes away by tram (inclusive of the wait since the trams seem to come every 5 minutes or so). As for the breakfast, while the service was good, the food was meh. Sure, eating your breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was nice but honestly, save your money and grab breakfast elsewhere since there are plenty of places around the hotel to get better food from. Lastly, the room is great. There's plenty of space to stretch out and the air conditioner worked decently. Water pressure in the sink and the shower is very good. The bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly though.
  : One thing that the hotel failed to mention is that at least until the square that's under construction is completed, there's no direct access to the front of the hotel which is really inconvenient especially when you have to lug your luggage around for check-in and check-out. The reception is simply that...just reception so really just for checking in and checking out. Besides that, I found them extremely unhelpful and cold. When I asked to break a large bill, they looked at me like I was crazy. If you're expecting some level of concierge service from reception, forget it. 90% of the time, I find the receptionists on their phone who could hardly be bothered for any sort of service. When I asked for some extra toiletries, I had to call 3x before I got what I had politely asked for.
