: Breakfast was good.
: We arrived at the hotel after a 6 hour drive and were greeted with a google translate message which read "The air conditioning is not working are you staying?" and were advised to call Booking.com to resolve any issues or to arrange refund. This was the start of a disappointing experience at this hotel. Having booked through Booking.com we couldn't look for another hotel until we had confirmation that we would be refunded for this one. Tried to call Booking.com but couldn't make the call as we couldn't make international calls, sent a message and we were told they had contacted the hotel and were waiting for them to resolve the issue (no real updates until the next morning when we were offered a 10 euro discount off a future stay by Booking.com!). The entire time at the hotel we were not able to speak to anyone that spoke english, the manager was not available even after regular requests to see/speak to one (the staff completely communicated through google translate and kept repeating they had no authority to do anything). Free parking was not available at the hotel (as advertised), had to pay at a local car park about 50 meters away. Reading other reviews it seems the air conditioning to be off is a regular occurrence.
