  : A type of a big complex where you feel the staff are employees. They provide you what you ask for, but thats all. Very different experience vs many others places weve stayed in at Azores.

  : Requested an early check in. No communication back. When I eventually was able to check in the room I entered had not been cleaned. Breakfast was unsanitary with rotting fruit and fruit flies. Very dated decor. Beds hard as rocks.

  : Very clean and tidy. The location is perfect, just next to the pier and the center of Madalena. The breakfast was great: a wide variety of products with great quality.

  : The hotel is in an ideal location if you plan to arrive or depart by boat, as the ferry terminal with services to Faial and So Jorge is right across the street. We arrived in the early morning from So Jorge and left the next morning for Horta. Other locations like restaurants and car rental locations are also within easy walking distance. We were able to store our luggage after arriving early. The room itself was fine, decently sized with a balcony and a well-functioning air-conditioning. The breakfast was large with many different options, but was a bit hectic overall. There is also a pool, though due to time constraints we were unable to use it.
  : The room and especially the bathroom felt dated and could use a good make-over to bring it more up-to-date with modern expectations. Reception staff friendliness was a bit hit-or-miss. Overall it was a good choice for a one-night stay.
