  : Very beautiful location on the water. The apartment was spacious.
  : The jacuzzi was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable. Also, the staff did not disclose pricing for laundry and it was very very expensive upon receiving the bill.

  : The breakfast had a nice variety of selections. The bacon wasn't always completely cooked but we brought this to our room and continued to fry it and enjoy it with eggs we had purchased. The bread and bakery selections were wonderful and the variety of coffee makers was a real surprise. The French press was used everyday!
  : Access to the water pool was trecherous. The facility pool was nice.

  : The property is very well situated, and from our bidding we could see Pico and the sea. Comfortable and spacious apartment. Lovely staff. Recommend.

  : Location (sea, walking distance to cella bar and madalena), Sea View, Car Parking. Very friendly staff.
  : The whole building is outdated, charmeless and too expensive for what you get compared to the other azorean islands (sao miguel, terceira, faial). It seems like it was built in the 90ies and never modernised or fixed since then. The matress was so hard, we couldnt sleep and did not feel relaxed in the mornings. Pillow also very uncomfortable. The furniture is old and sometimes a bit disgusting (sofa, fridge, bathroom). It has huge potential, the location and size of the flat is great, but they dont seem to care about it. Same for the pool: you dont want to swim in there, the walls were made of plastic and yellow from the old water. It was end of season, but still 25 degrees, unfortunately they already removed all the sunchairs.Breakfast was ok, but for such a price we expect what you get on the other islands as well, e.g. a real cappuccino with fresh milk and espresso and not a nestl powder-hot water mix.

  : We had the big split level appartement. Privy but what a view. Top floor with balcony was so nice. On one site the ocean from other bedroom view on Mountain Pico (when not in the clouds)
  : Living room was kind of basic for the enormous smoust of space. A bit of a luxery problem. Not really in the center of Madalena but that is tiny and spread out anyway

  : Location was great and within walking distant to Madalena. It was also within walking distant to swimming pools. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

  : Huge rooms and lovely private natural pool. The breakfast was also great, especially the fruit yoghurts (or desserts).
  : Maybe a slightly bigger TV for rainy days? But we loved our stay.
