  : The property is located on Praa Martim Moniz on far from Praa Dom Pedro IV, restaurants and the train station. There is a parking garage across from the building, albeit expensive and takes cash only. . Our unit was well equipped, English language TV to keep up with the news and it has a washer.
  : Our unit was located on the second floor, but the outside steps effectively made it a ground floor unit and we were unable to fully open the windows and blinds to cool the apartment since the unit does not have AC.

  : The apartment facilities were good for a short stay. Bedroom and kitchen are nice, but living room/sofa is not great. Cant really use windows- no privacy, lots of foot traffic and street level, completely open to the apartment.
  : The management office setup and incompetence from the staff made our check-in very inconvenient. They had us park our car, drag our luggage all the way to the office 20 min walking, only to then inform us that the apartment was where the car park was- we couldve left our luggage! Then the check-in staff told us not to trust Google maps for the apartment address and instead gave us directions by manually clicking thru Google street view with verbal instructions. This could have been fine except she gave us entirely wrong directions, and we spent extra 20-30 minutes running around trying to figure it out. Turns out that Google maps did provide the right information, it clearly shows the correct building whereas the clerk pointed to the wrong street via Google street view. What the clerk meant by not trusting Google was to use the side entrance and not the front. They were not very quick to respond to my Booking.com messages. Lastly, they originally told us to leave the keys in the apartment upon checkout but day of, they suddenly asked for us to bring it back to the office.

  : The apartment was very central, comfortable and clean.
  : Check in was a bit tricky as we were driving and told to meet our host at a cafe near to the apartment. There was no place to pull over other than a taxi rank opposite. I went to the cafe but the host was not inside and I couldn't see her outside either. My husband was worried in the car that he couldn't stop at that busy junction and I had to call the host for help. After two calls we were finally met and had to drive around some one way streets to get back to the apartment as the parking was underground just next to the apartment block. Maybe better instructions for arrival parking could be supplied in future.

  : Support reacted quickly to a number of issues.
  : The apartment is actually located on the first floor close to the street stairs. There were loud guys every evening and night near the apartments windows. We were unable to open the windows and it was too hot. There was almost no fresh air.
